Leadership is fundamental in all societies but a leader who is not mentored; even with all the gifts, they are destined to fail. The University Prioritizes “Leadership” and our students are a part of that mentorship through students’ leadership. Also, as a society of students, they need representatives and a manageable group to take care of the needs of the many and be the bridge between the students’ body and the University Administration.

This team of students is called the Students’ Guild. It is led by a Guild President who is constitutionally elected by the students in accordance with the standing guidelines of the guild electoral commission. The president is elected with a team of other ministers and leaders and appointed accordingly. The leaders’ roles and offices are shared by students from both campuses, main and Kampala.
