Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Faculty has diverse programmes including; Development Studies, Social Work and Social Administration, Guidance and Counselling, Journalism and Mass Communication, Community Based Development, Counselling Psychology and Public Administration, offered at both diploma and degree level. The faculty also offers Graduate programmes in Development Studies, Community Participation and Strategic Management, and Counselling Psychology.
The programmes have witnessed increasing numbers of applicants who are guided by highly skilled staff who guide them through the practice and theory. These highly valued scholarships are taught with complementary research projects in the different fields of Social Science Interests. Through training that entails on – campus as well as field based training and reviews of content covered over the period by involving our strategic partners to farther opportunities we are keeping our programmes relevant.
The Faculty’s student’s population is drawn from all over East Africa and beyond. We boast of alumni that are directly working to improve living conditions of people locally and globally.
