Ndejje University is conducting a comprehensive two-day Pedagogy Training workshop under the theme \u201cAssessment and Evaluation in Higher Institutions of Learning,\u201d<\/strong> bringing together over 200 teaching and non-teaching staff from across faculties, directorates, and administrative units. The training is part of the University\u2019s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic quality, modern teaching practices, and effective learner assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was officially blessed by the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Can. Prof. Olivia Nassaka Banja<\/strong>, who applauded the Faculty of Education and Humanities for organizing a timely and impactful capacity-building event. She commended staff for their strong participation and emphasized that continuous professional development is essential for institutional excellence and student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her opening remarks, she noted that education is evolving at a tremendous speed due to curriculum reforms and increased learner exposure to digital technologies and internet resources. She urged lecturers and academic support staff to continuously upgrade their pedagogical and assessment approaches to remain relevant and effective. She stressed that educators must remain professionally fit and responsive to change in order to serve the next generation of learners expected to join the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training is coordinated under the leadership of Dr. Primrose Nakazibwe, Dean Faculty of Education & Humanities and Director of Research and Innovations<\/strong>, working closely with other University leaders and directorates. another Senior academic leaders in attendance included;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
