{"id":10139,"date":"2026-02-18T15:31:20","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T12:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ndejjeuniversity.ac.ug\/?p=10139"},"modified":"2026-02-18T15:31:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T12:31:44","slug":"ndejje-week-2026-called-to-serve-mark-1045","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndejjeuniversity.ac.ug\/?p=10139","title":{"rendered":"Ndejje Week 2026: Called to Serve (Mark 10:45)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ndejje University Chaplaincy is delighted to host <strong>Ndejje Week 2026<\/strong>, scheduled to take place from <strong>15th to 22nd February 2026<\/strong> under the powerful theme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cCALLED TO SERVE\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cFor even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Mark 10:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s theme is a timely reminder of our Christian calling as a university community. Rooted in the example of Jesus Christ, we are challenged to live beyond ourselves and embrace a life of humility, compassion, and active service to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ndejje Week is more than an annual event\u2014it is a movement of faith in action. It is a time when students, staff, alumni, and the surrounding community come together to demonstrate Christ\u2019s love through practical service and outreach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activities During Ndejje Week 2026<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the week, the Chaplaincy will lead impactful engagements including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>School Outreach<\/strong> \u2013 Ministering to and mentoring young learners in neighboring schools, encouraging academic excellence and spiritual growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health Camp<\/strong> \u2013 Providing medical support, health awareness, and wellness services to the community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Church Outreach<\/strong> \u2013 Sharing the Gospel and strengthening fellowship within surrounding churches and communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These activities reflect the heart of servant leadership\u2014using our gifts, knowledge, and abilities to uplift others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Call to the Entire University Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As members of Ndejje University, we are not only called to pursue academic excellence but also to embody Christ-like service in all areas of life. Ndejje Week 2026 invites every student and staff member to participate actively\u2014whether through volunteering, prayer, financial support, or simply showing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
