It was yet another successful week for our engineering students, who joined hundreds of passionate young people driving the renewable energy transition in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon a special invitation from the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Uganda Section<\/strong>, in partnership with TotalEnergies<\/strong>, 30 Ndejje University students had the privilege of attending the Youth in Energy Conference 2025<\/strong> at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, held under the theme \u201cAwareness to Action: Youth Shaping Uganda\u2019s Energy Transition.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The event brought together top leaders and managers in the energy sector from Uganda, Namibia, and Senegal, who participated in panel discussions and shared valuable experiences with the youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ndejje University delegation was accompanied by one of their Faculty Research and Innovation Mentors, Mr. Roice Bwambale Kalengyo<\/strong>, who made the discussions more relatable through his experiences in environmental and renewable energy research.
