Bachelor of Records and Information Management
Program Overview
The Bachelor of Records and Information Management at Ndejje University equips students with the professional knowledge and hands‑on skills required to manage information assets across their entire lifecycle. The program blends traditional archival principles with modern digital information management, preparing graduates to create, organize, preserve, secure, and manage records in both physical and electronic formats. Students gain competencies in information governance, digital preservation, data security, documentation services, and compliance with national and international standards.
Through coursework in database systems, archives administration, digital records management, information technology, records storage and security, and project planning, students are molded into capable information professionals ready to support organizational efficiency, accountability, and informed decision‑making.

Graduates of BRI program will be able to:

Entry Requirements – Bachelor of Records and Information Management
Direct Entry
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 principal pass in a relevant subject.
Diploma Entry
- Relevant Diploma in records management, information science, IT, library science or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
Mature Age Entry
- A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
International Applicants
- Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
- Academic documents must be equated where necessary
- Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
