COMPLETED STUDIES-External Studies
- The Directorate of research and innovations in partnership with Tilburg University-Netherlands completed and submitted a final report WOTRO titled; The key role of contextualizing local social practices in project ownership and sustainability. A case study in post-conflict communities in Northern Uganda, for the study on contextualization by Mid-January 2024.
- The Covid 19 Costing undertaken by Ndejje University in partnership with ThinkWell and KCCA was completed and dissemination of findings done with different stakeholders at in the health sector around Kampala.
ON GOING STUDIES
The various studies implemented under the NDU Seed Grants have progressed well with most of them done with data collection and analyzing data.
- The directorate is undertaking a study on safe spaces funded by O3 plus and we want to thank the faculty administrators who have championed the data collection.
- The Directorate has embarked on a new study on use of antenatal services and delivery practices in Kampala metropolitan region to answer the question why 7 women die every day within the region around. This study is a response to a call from Kampala city center to find answers. Ndejje University will partner with ThinkWell and KCC to undertake the studies.
