Grants & Partnership Office
Background
The Grants and Partnership Office (GPO) sources, nurtures and coordinates grant initiatives in the university with emphasis on entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary aspects. This is pursuant of NDU Strategic Plan Objectives 6, & 8 (Financial Sustainability; and Partnerships & Collaborations) One core way has been networking through meetings, visits and exhibitions to market NDU products in the Academia- Public- Private Partnership (APPP) framework.
Role
Faculties/Departments/Sections/Units considering writing a proposal to support a program idea or research project should contact GP to avail themselves of all possible services of the office. Services include, but are not limited to; targeted searches for sponsors, award and program research (past grantees, abstracts of winning proposals), proposal development, editing, budget development and spreadsheet building, and travel support for agency visits, if appropriate. Should collaboration with another institution be planned, the GP will coordinate the compliance and commitment documents needed.
