Bachelor of Social Work & Social Administration
Program Overview
The Bachelor of Social Work & Social Administration equips students with the knowledge and skills to support individuals, families, and communities in improving their well-being. The program combines social work practice, administration, and policy analysis to prepare graduates for careers in social welfare, community development, and public service. Students gain hands-on experience through fieldwork and internships in social service organizations

Entry Requirements – Bachelor of Social Work & Social Administration
Direct Entry
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 2 principal passes, including a relevant subject
Diploma Entry
Relevant diploma in social work, community development, or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
Mature Age Entry
A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
International Applicants
- Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
- Academic documents must be equated where necessary
- Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
