Program Overview
The Bachelor of Theology at Ndejje University is designed to provide students with a deep and rigorous understanding of the Bible, Christian doctrine, church history, and practical ministry. The program blends academic study with spiritual formation and ministry training, preparing students for roles in pastoral leadership, teaching, missions, chaplaincy, and Christian service.
Students engage in biblical languages, theological reflection, ethics, church governance, pastoral counseling, homiletics, and practical ministry practice. Emphasis is placed on developing both intellectual competence and Christ‑centered character, enabling graduates to serve effectively in churches, schools, organizations, and community settings.

Entry Requirements – Bachelor of Theology
Direct Entry
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 principal pass in a relevant subject.
Diploma Entry
- Relevant diploma in Theology or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
Mature Age Entry
- A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
International Applicants
- Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
- Academic documents must be equated where necessary
- Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
