Ndejje University was honored to host the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt.Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, at our stall during the 15th National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Higher Education Exhibition in Mbarara. His visit underscored the vital role of innovation, research, and digital transformation in shaping Uganda’s higher education sector.
During the exhibition, our team proudly showcased groundbreaking projects from the AI Research Center and the Water Research and Development Centre (WRDC). These initiatives are dedicated to providing sustainable solutions across key sectors, including education, agriculture, and environmental conservation. Hon. Tayebwa commended the university’s commitment to leveraging technology and research to drive national development.
The AI Research Center presented advancements in artificial intelligence applications, illustrating how cutting-edge technology can enhance learning experiences, automate processes, and foster smarter decision-making in various industries. Meanwhile, the WRDC highlighted pioneering research on water conservation and sustainable agricultural practices aimed at addressing Uganda’s pressing environmental challenges.
