Ndejje University yesterday hosted its affiliate partners at the Graduate School in a meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration, enhancing academic partnerships, and fostering a shared vision for research and graduate training. The gathering brought together members of the university leadership, deans, directors, faculty, and administrative staff who collectively engaged with the partners in a day-long interaction that ran from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The event was made possible through the support and guidance of the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Canon Prof. Olivia Nassaka Banja, whose commitment to academic partnerships continues to strengthen the university’s research and postgraduate agenda. The university community also appreciated the support of Canon Dr. Kahigiriza, who facilitated the logistical arrangements including the provision of tents, chairs, and decorations that ensured a welcoming environment for the guests.
Representing the Vice Chancellor at the function, Dr. Mayanja commended the organizers for their dedication and patience in coordinating the day’s activities. The Academic Registrar, Dr. Mary Wanda, also played a key role in ensuring the event ran smoothly, dedicating the entire day to supporting the engagement and representing the university’s academic administration.
The meeting was attended by several university leaders including deans and directors such as Dr. Setekera, Dr. Mutumba, Dr. Kibirige, Mr. Gitta, Allan Walusimbi representing DICTs, whose presence demonstrated the institution’s commitment to collaborative engagement with its partners.
Faculty members and staff from the Graduate School also played an instrumental role in the success of the event. Among them were Dr. Sekiziyivu, Ms. Semivule, Mr. Kyazike, Mr. Kamanyire, Ms. Daiana Nantege, Ms. Gladys Mwebaza, Ms. Sarah Mugala, and Mr. Enock Sensalire, whose teamwork and dedication reflected the strong spirit of cooperation within the university community.
The organizing team also appreciated the support of the Graduate School administrative staff including Mr. Galinya, who delivered a presentation during the meeting, as well as Martin and Patrick from the Academic Registrar’s Department, whose behind-the-scenes support ensured the smooth running of the event.
The engagement provided an important platform for dialogue, networking, and exploring opportunities for strengthening academic and research collaborations. As Ndejje University continues to expand its postgraduate and research agenda, such interactions with affiliate partners remain key in building sustainable partnerships that contribute to academic excellence and institutional growth
