Tour of University Facilities
The day began with a tour of the Medicinal Garden and Agro Forestry projects, the Water and Renewable Energy Research and Development Centre, and other university facilities. This provided an opportunity for Mr. Tschunko to witness firsthand the impact of the partnership between Ndejje University and Coworkers International.
Partnership Highlights
Ndejje University currently hosts two Coworkers, Mr. Olaf Berthold and Dr. Birgit Berthold, who have been instrumental in Agro Forestry and Complementary Medicine, respectively. The couple has been with the university since 2022 and will continue to work with Ndejje University for the next three years.
A Long-Standing Partnership
The partnership between Ndejje University and Coworkers ( Christ Oriented Workers) dates back to 2013. Over the years, Coworkers International, together with the German government, has facilitated many projects at the university, including the establishment of the Water and Renewable Energy Research and Development Centre, the National One Stop Renewable Energy Research lab, solar, and briquettes making, among others. This collaboration has been a testament to the strong relationship between the two institutions and their shared commitment to academic excellence and community development.
