As Ndejje Week draws to a close, the MARI team embarked on a meaningful mission to Mityana Secondary school, sharing valuable career guidance with students. The visit aimed to empower learners with insights and inspiration for their future paths.
The sessions, divided into two groups, catered to the needs of S2-S3 students and candidate classes separately. Charlene Mugalula, University PRO, led the younger group, emphasizing the importance of respecting others, time management, and having the right attitude. Students participated enthusiastically, visualizing their futures through drawings and presentations, sharing where they see themselves in the next decade.
In an interactive session, Mr. Martin Ashaba guided the candidate class, addressing questions on combination choices and career paths. The session encouraged students to explore their interests and aptitudes, making informed decisions about their future.
The MARI team’s visit underscored Ndejje University’s commitment to serving the community and empowering the next generation. The school visit served as a timely reminder that “the choices today determine tomorrow.”
