NAIROBI, Kenya — Ndejje University was formally represented at the high-level Quality Assurance Regional Training Forum (Cohort 7) held from June 11th to 13th, June 2026, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
Ms. Suzan Nabunnya represented Ndejje University at the forum. The university delegation traveled to Nairobi on Wednesday night ahead of the sessions and returned on Sunday evening. The training intensive brought together regional higher education stakeholders to discuss collaborative frameworks under the theme: “Strengthening and Harmonizing Higher Education Quality Assurance Systems for Enhanced East Africa Regional Integration.”
The Cohort 7 sessions focused on equipping academic institutions to manage regional shifts in higher education, particularly the implementation of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) frameworks and institutional self-assessment structures.
The insights gained from this training will support ongoing quality assurance initiatives, curriculum updates, and internal policy evaluations at Ndejje University to ensure continued alignment with East African regional standards.
