The Faculty of Health Sciences has commenced a comprehensive First Aid Training aimed at equipping the Ndejje University community with life-saving skills.
The training, which is ongoing at the *Anatomy Block, Main Campus*, brings together staff and students from all faculties for hands-on sessions in emergency response.
What participants are learning:
– Basic Life Support & CPR
– Management of bleeding, burns, and fractures
– Choking and drowning response
– Handling fainting, seizures and shock
– How to respond before professional help arrives
Facilitated by expert trainers from the Faculty of Health Sciences, the two-day training emphasizes practical skills over theory.
Speaking at the opening, the faculty noted that first aid knowledge is crucial for everyone, especially in a University setting, hostels, sports fields, and on the road.
The best part? Participation is absolutely FREE!
Interested members are encouraged to walk to the Anatomy Block and register. The training runs for two days.
