As part of the ongoing Library Week celebrations, Ndejje University yesterday welcomed primary and secondary school students to its Main Campus in Bombo for an engaging and educational visit aimed at promoting a reading culture and appreciation of library services.
The visiting students were introduced to the University’s library services and resources, gaining valuable insights into the role of libraries in supporting learning, research, knowledge acquisition, and academic excellence.
The visit also featured debates, providing the students with an opportunity to express their ideas, exchange perspectives, strengthen their communication skills, and develop critical thinking.
The students were warmly received by the University’s library staff, led by the University Librarian, Mr Stephanas Galinnya, who welcomed them and supported the engagement.
The initiative reflects Ndejje University’s commitment to promoting a reading culture, nurturing young minds, and fostering meaningful engagement with schools and the wider community.
Through activities such as Library Week, the University continues to encourage learners to embrace reading, explore knowledge, and develop the skills necessary for academic success and lifelong learning.
Ndejje University remains committed to inspiring a love for knowledge and building a strong foundation for the next generation of learners.
