Ndejje University is calling upon its staff, students, alumni, friends, and well-wishers to support the development of the University Chapel through an upcoming Chapel Fundraising Dinner scheduled for Friday, 20th November 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Kampala Campus.
Held under the biblical theme from Haggai 1:8, “Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house,” the fundraising initiative seeks to mobilise support towards the development of a place dedicated to worship, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual growth within the university community.
The dinner provides an opportunity for members of the Ndejje University community and other well-wishers to contribute towards this important initiative as the University continues to uphold its Christian foundation and values.
A seat at the fundraising dinner costs UGX 300,000, while a table goes for UGX 3,000,000. Members of staff are encouraged to extend the invitation to their immediate families, friends, colleagues, and other potential supporters to help raise funds for the chapel project.
To facilitate contributions, a soft copy of the collection paper is available for printing, enabling staff and other supporters to begin collecting contributions from their immediate family members and wider networks ahead of the dinner.
The University community is encouraged to participate in the fundraising drive and share regular reminders through faculty and unit communication platforms to keep the initiative visible and motivate more people to contribute. Through collective support, the University hopes to make meaningful progress towards establishing a chapel that will serve the spiritual needs of its community for years to come.
