The Faculty of Law at Ndejje University has conducted a community legal outreach programme aimed at raising awareness of key legal issues and providing free legal advice to residents in communities around Ndejje.
During the outreach, members of the Faculty engaged community members on important legal matters, including Family Law, Land Law and the dangers of mob justice. The sessions provided an opportunity for residents to gain a better understanding of their legal rights, responsibilities and the appropriate channels for seeking justice.
In addition to the sensitisation sessions, the team offered free legal advice, helping community members better understand various legal concerns and the options available to them.
Led by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Damalie Naggita-Musoke, the initiative reflects Ndejje University’s commitment to community engagement and its responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the well-being and development of the communities it serves.
Through such initiatives, the University continues to demonstrate that education extends beyond the classroom, using knowledge and professional expertise to address societal needs and promote positive community transformation.
