On 17th September 2025, Ndejje University holds its First-Year Induction Service at the Kampala Campus. The event marks an important moment of spiritual and academic guidance for the new students as they officially begin their journey at the institution.
Key Highlights of the Event
The guest speaker, Mrs. Evelyn Mayambala, an accomplished Interior Designer, delivers a powerful sermon centered on the theme “Getting saved from a crooked generation,” drawn from Acts 2:40.
Reading from 2nd Corinthians 4:14–17, Mrs. Mayambala reminds the students that “if you know who you are in Christ, you will be different.” She challenges the freshers to reflect on how they use their time in this crooked generation and how they can guard themselves against the temptations that come with it.
Quoting Philippians 4:13, she emphasizes that students can only endure the challenges of university life by depending on Christ, who gives them strength. She also urges them to take heed of the counsel of elders, listen to their lecturers and parents, and keep their eyes focused on Jesus.
Mrs. Mayambala concludes by stressing that “the fear of the Lord brings wisdom, but the foolish do not know it.” She encourages the new students to make wise choices early, ensuring their growth in both character and academics.
