The Faculty of Agriculture at Ndejje University is honored to host a delegation from the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) and Makerere University (MAK) during a joint scientific conference aimed at fostering collaboration in agricultural research and innovation.
The conference, held at the university’s main campus, has brought together experts from NARO and MAK, alongside students and faculty members from Ndejje University. The objective of the conference is to discuss emerging trends in agricultural research, exchange ideas, and explore potential areas of collaboration between the institutions.
Throughout the event, participants have engaged in a series of presentations and panel discussions covering a wide range of topics, including sustainable agriculture, climate-smart farming, soil and water conservation, and innovations in crop and livestock production. The discussions highlighted the importance of research-driven solutions in addressing the challenges faced by Uganda’s agricultural sector.
