Ndejje University proudly announces the official launch of its Faculty of Law, a significant milestone in its commitment to expanding academic excellence and professional training in Uganda. The newly established faculty has been accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), making it the latest addition to the university’s ever-growing portfolio of quality academic programs.
The accreditation comes after a rigorous review process by NCHE, confirming that the Faculty of Law meets the national standards for legal education in Uganda. This marks a remarkable achievement for the university as it positions itself as a hub for nurturing legal minds grounded in integrity, justice, and service.
The Faculty of Law is designed to offer a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a strong emphasis on ethics, research, critical thinking, and practical legal skills. With a team of highly qualified lecturers, legal practitioners, and scholars, the faculty will provide students with a robust legal education that prepares them for various roles in the legal profession, including the judiciary, private practice, public service, and academia
The university is currently finalizing preparations to receive its pioneer law students in the upcoming intake. Facilities such as a moot court, legal research resources, and digital learning platforms are being equipped to ensure that learners receive a world-class legal education experience.
Applications for the Bachelor of Laws program are now open, and interested students are encouraged to apply through the university’s online application system or visit the Admissions Office for guidance.
The new Faculty of Law is more than an academic unit—it is a beacon of hope for legal reform, social justice, and the empowerment of future generations of Ugandan leaders.
