Today, September 6, 2024, Ndejje University’s Graduate School held its much-anticipated VIVA Defense, a significant academic event where postgraduate candidates presented their research findings to a panel of esteemed examiners. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests to witness a showcase of innovative research, critical analysis, and academic excellence.
The VIVA Defense, commonly referred to as a thesis defense, is a crucial milestone for postgraduate students. It is an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their understanding of their research, justify their methodologies, and discuss their findings in depth. Today’s defense saw a diverse range of topics, reflecting the broad scope of academic inquiry at Ndejje University. From groundbreaking studies in Information Technology to in-depth analyses in Business Administration and Social Sciences, each candidate presented with clarity, confidence, and academic rigor.
The panel of examiners included both internal and external experts, such as Prof. Rukanyangira Nazarious, Dr. Kitata Paul, Dr. Kansiime Grace, Dr. Ninsheka Leonard, Mr. Kityo Ronald, Mr. Kibuuka Peter, Mr. Deo Matovu, and Ms. Naome Kakundwa.
