Today, Ndejje University holds a meaningful Commissioning Service at our Kampala Campus on Friday, 4th October 2024. The event has gathered faculty, staff, and students for a time of reflection, worship, and dedication, marking a significant moment in the university’s tradition.
The Rt. Rev. Henry Katumba, who has presided over the service, has delivered an inspiring sermon centered on Proverbs 4:13: “Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.” His message emphasized the importance of wisdom, discipline, and steadfastness in both our academic and personal lives. He urged the university community to embrace instruction, not only as a key to success but as a guiding light for life’s journey.
The service also served as an opportunity to pray for the university’s academic and administrative members, dedicating their efforts to the growth and development of the institution. The gathering highlighted Ndejje University’s strong foundation in leadership, faith, and integrity.
As we continue to pursue academic excellence and holistic education, the wisdom shared during the service will resonate throughout the coming year, guiding us to live purposefully and honorably.
We are grateful for the participation of the university community and the uplifting words of Rt. Rev. Henry Katumba. We look forward to continuing our mission of nurturing future leaders who will positively impact society.
